Vancore Toastmasters

I’ve recently joined a great Toastmasters group based in downtown Vancouver. I have wanted to be part of Toastmasters for years but haven’t had the time or the right opportunity. When I found out about Vancore’s late-afternoon Wednesday meeting I was really excited to be able to try it out. Toastmasters didn’t disappoint. It’s a very supportive environment with a group of professionals who are really interested in helping to improve your public speaking skills.

The best part about Toastmasters is all the interesting stories and presentations the members tell. You learn a lot about a group of people – and they’re all good speakers.

I’m looking forward to working through the speeches and getting to know everyone a bit better. It’s been a great experience so far.
