Stanley Cup in Campbell River
Posted by Jeremy under: Campbell River; Canada; Entertainment; Personal; Sports; Vancouver; del.icio.us .
Rod Brind’Amour brought the Stanley Cup, professional hockey’s most important trophy, to Campbell River just days after the Hurricanes won the Cup. Campbell River is a big hockey town. Most Riverites are Canucks fans, but with the Canucks out of the playoffs it set the stage for all of Campbell River to cheer Rod and the Hurricanes on!
Here are a few images, taken by Erin Wallis Photography, of the Stanley Cup at Tyee Plaza in Campbell River. Contact Erin Wallis if you would like to use the images.

Roy Grant, acting mayor, of Campbell River helped organize for me to be up in the Fire Truck ladder, inspired by my moms great idea…. and with gracious co-operation from the Campbell River Firefighters, and special thanks to Stuart Dumont (who let me know that he wouldn’t let me fall) another hero!
