Canucks Sign Roberto Luongo to 4-Year Deal

Roberto Luongo reportedly signed a 4-year deal with the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks.

It was sad to see Alex Auld go in the big trade last week because he appears to be so calm all the time but Roberto Luongo is a top-rated NHL goalie, something we’ve needed in Vancouver for some time. It’s great we were able to reach a long-term contract with Luongo.

I’m looking forward to see the next moves Dave Nonis makes.

TSN reports:

Goaltender Roberto Luongo finally has the long-term deal he’s always wanted, signing a four-year, $27 million US contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
