Canucks Sign Defenseman Willie Mitchell

The Vancouver Canucks have signed Willie Mitchell to a four-year deal. Mitchell’s a strong competitor who we saw matched against Bertuzzi in many a game. I’ve often expressed extreme dislike for Mitchell, while saying that I’d love him if he were wearing our uniform. So I think Nonis did a great job picking Mitchell up.

Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that defenceman Willie Mitchell has signed a four-year deal. In keeping with club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
