Bridget and I had such a great time at the restaurant. Lots of great people, food and drinks. I can still taste the deep fried banana and ice cream – Wow was that good.

The UBC Thunderbirds hockey team finds themselves without a home this winter as they rebuild the UBC arena for the 2010 Olympics. While I’m sure it’s an inconvenience for the team, it gives hockey fans a chance to experience GM Place hockey for a fraction of the cost of Canucks tickets.

Organize a group of 10 or more people and tickets are only $5 each. Family-Packs are $28. Special student pricing too.

Toastmasters: Your Body Speaks – A Great Example

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I’m a member of Toastmasters, in Vancouver. I’ve been participating in Toastmasters for about a year now and it’s been a wonderful learning experience. One of the side-effects of being a Toastmaster is that when I listen to someone public speak I’m also watching them public speak.
