Speaking of the weather…

Sunrise in Burnaby, BC on March 6, 2007Wow, what a beautiful spring day. It’s the first day in a long time that I’ve been able to walk around Gastown (near my office) without feeling clenched and cold.

I had a hunch it was going to be a good day when Bridget nudged me this morning and said, “Wake up…look at that sunrise!“. I jumped out of bed and shot a bunch of pictures and then poured a cup of coffee.

Because the weather’s comfortable I explored the neighborhood a little more than usual and on the way back from my little walk I stopped in at the Red Square Salon and booked an appointment for later today. I’ve never been there before, but anything’s gotta be better than my current big hair. I’m looking forward to getting a “go-faster” haircut.

While visiting Red Square’s website I saw a link to Raised Eyebrow Web Studio. They sure do nice work. I’m amazed that I haven’t stumbled upon their site before. I’ve added the partners’ blog, BossLady.ca to my list of daily reads and I’m looking forward to seeing more of their work.

Take 15 minutes today, if you can, and go for a short walk and enjoy the warm weather. It feels great!

Yeah – winter does that to me! The summer sun relaxes me dramatically. And on the news last night they said that it was 16 degrees yesterday, so I wasn’t crazy in thinking that it felt unseasonably warm.

    Ha!

As I’m reading this, I’ve just returned from a quick run, where I was SOAKED in true Vancouverian fashion.

    It did feel good though.
