Leaving on a Jet Plane…

I’m sitting in the Bellingham International Airport in Bellingham, Washington. They’ve got FAST, free wi-fi here! Yay!
I’m on my way to Palm Springs to play some golf with my girlfriend and my folks. I haven’t been down there for about four years, but last time I went we had a blast. Really, what’s better than golfing in the sunshine during the day and doing a bit of gambling in the evenings?
I’m flying on Allegiant Air for an incredibly reasonable price. The only downside was that I had to leave Vancouver at 3:15am this morning. The good news is that there were no other cars at the border, so it took me less than an hour to get from my home in Burnaby to the Bellingham Airport.
The staff here at the airport have been super friendly and helpful. I’m hoping the flight will be just as good - will report on the flight later this week.
I still can’t get over how great it is to have wi-fi in the airport - it makes waiting for your flight a whole lot better.

Talk to you when you get back,

The trip has been so much fun! Highlights include a 76 at Indian Canyon - the first time I’ve broken 80! …and I’ve gotta say the flight on Allegiant was really good for a discount airline.
It’s always a ton of fun hanging out with the folks and we’ve managed to get four rounds of golf in so far…hopefully one more tomorrow. Nicest course so far was SilverRock today - it beat me up though.
